Launching Soon…
Happy to announce (I have known for quite some time, but kept it somewhat under wraps) I was formally invited to participate as a Guest Photographer at the 2026 edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival, following curatorial review of my exhibition proposal. The Faces of Mexico: A Study in Truth and Perception opens to the public at the Xposure International Photography & Film Festival in Sharjah on January 29th, 2026.
The invitation reflects the festival’s interest in the project’s engagement with questions of image authenticity, ethics, and the role of AI within contemporary photographic practice. Participation as a guest photographer positions the work within a selective, international cohort of practitioners and situates the project within a broader professional and critical dialogue on the future of photography.
The Xposure International Photography Festival in Sharjah has been running since 2016. It began as a relatively modest regional photography gathering and has grown, year on year, into one of the most significant photography and visual storytelling events in the Middle East, with a very deliberate international orientation.
Supported by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau it attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually, with work selected through a competitive curatorial process.
